Carla Lief became a paralegal in 1989 and has over 21 years of legal experience. In December 1991, she graduated from the American Institute with an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. In June of 2000, Ms. Lief obtained a Bachelor Degree in Business and Information Systems
from the University of Phoenix.
In July 2003, when Arizona started requiring document preparers to be licensed, the Arizona Supreme Court approved Carla as a Licensed Document Preparer. Her license has been renewed each year since July 2003.
In September 2004 Ms. Lief became a Certified Paralegal with the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc.
In February 2008, she completed the Master Program in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
In September 2009 Ms. Lief renewed her Paralegal Certification with the National Association of Legal Assistants, Inc.
For several years Ms. Lief was the bankruptcy instructor for the Maricopa County Bar Association's Certified Paralegal program.
Ms. Lief has maintained her Arizona document preparer license each year. She also continues at least 10 hours of continuing education each year.
